What are your opening hours?
We’re open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. And
Sunday 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Are you open over the holidays?
We aim to open over every holiday except Christmas Day. Please check the website or socials, this is where we will detail any closure.
Where is McGregor Pharma located?
We are located at 18 North Street, Carrickfergus, BT38 7AQ.
Are your staff qualified?
Yes. Our services are provided by appropriately trained and qualified healthcare professionals.
Do I need an appointment?
Many of our services are available without an appointment. However, booking ahead is recommended for services such as vaccinations, blood tests, ear care and private consultations.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment on our website or app. You can also contact us by phone, email, social media or by visiting the pharmacy
Can I cancel or rearrange my appointment?
Yes. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the appointment to another patient
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Same-day consultations are available, depending on demand. Contact us online or visit the pharmacy and our team will do their best to help
What happens if I am late?
We will always try to accommodate you, but your appointment may need to be shortened or rearranged if you arrive late.
Is there parking nearby?
There is parking available at the top and bottom of the street. You can park in these spots for a maximum of 1 hour for free. There are two Council carparks nearby (Lancasterian & Joymount), these are £2-3 per day
Are your consultations free?
Yes, our initial consultations and advice are free. You will only pay the advertised price for the treatment, medication or service you receive
Do I need to be registered with McGregor Pharma?
No. You do not need to register with us or change from your current GP or pharmacy to use our private healthcare services
Can I use your services if I already have a GP?
Yes. Our private services are available alongside your usual NHS GP and pharmacy care.
Can you prescribe medication?
Yes. Following a suitable consultation and clinical assessment, our qualified healthcare professionals may be able to prescribe and supply treatment where appropriate
